Recognizes the ribosomal RNA gene promoter and activates transcription mediated by RNA polymerase I (Pol I) through cooperative interactions with the transcription factor SL1/TIF-IB complex. It binds specifically to the upstream control element and can activate Pol I promoter escape. 25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with HOXB4 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-62255R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
