Golgi auto-antigen; probably involved in maintaining cis-Golgi structure. The Golgi apparatus, which participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway, consists of a series of stacked cisternae (flattened membrane sacs). Interactions between the Golgi and microtubules are thought to be important for the reorganization of the Golgi after it fragments during mitosis. 25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with GM130 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-61120R) at 1:2000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
